We did it.

I've been thinking about starting a blog for about 6 months, but was hesitant for several reasons. Well, we decided to go for it. A lot is going on in our lives and in about 8 months we will be living in another country for about a year (Lord willing). This will be a great way for family and friends to know what is going on in our lives. It will be beneficial for us as well as we reflect honestly on what the Lord is doing and how He is shaping and changing our lives.

Psalm 96:8 is the main reason we want to blog about our very lives...to write about all the Lord is doing for His glory!

For those who don't know, about a year ago, the Lord started stirring and burdening our hearts to serve on the mission field. Though this was not the first time we felt this way, it was different this time. It was time to GO. Long story short, we're headed for Romania for one year. We plan to leave in January 2011 and after serving for a year we will re-evaluate to see if God wants this to be more long term or not. When we reflect on all God is doing it just seems...absurd! But we just cannot help the peace we have in Him that this is the path He has chosen for us. We're not sure what all lies ahead of us, but we're excited to follow Him and to take you with us!
