Happy Halloweenie

Halloween with the Krohn's= SUPER FUN!

The kids were way into it this year, running from yard to yard dangling
their goodie bags.  Saying "trick or treat" so sweetly and not leaving
until their "thank you" was acknowledged.

We love Oct. 31st because it is Reformation Day.
Typically we celebrate with friends who through a huge
Reformation Day Celebration. It is awesome!
This year we were out of town when they had it.
If you ever want some ideas for a Reformation party let me know
and I can share some of their ideas with you.
Great way to celebrate our Christian heritage!

But we also love being able to have fun and celebrate a tradition
with people we love.  I know some people do not celebrate
Halloween and may now question if I am a Christian because we trick or treat
(just kidding...well, kind of...lol),
but it can also be what you make it.  It doesn't have to be scary.
For our kids it is just such an innocent day for them right now and it is so much
fun.  We are going to enjoy it!

If I wasn't going to celebrate Halloween because I thought it was a pagan
holiday, then I wouldn't put a Christmas tree up in my house either,
and if you know the VanHorn's you know that a tree will be cut down
and standing brightly in our living room after Thanksgiving!

Ok, enough ranting...here are some pics!
