My couch is a thief!

I have not been able to find our dvd remote control for a few weeks now.  I haven't really cared until the other day when it made it impossible for me to watch a video that went along with my Bible study.

I went on a hunt.

Our couches are big and comfortable, but from the day we bought them almost 7 years ago, they tend to "steal" anything that may fall out of your hand or pockets.

The other day I took every cushion out and put my hands down all the sides to find this remote.

I didn't find the remote, but I found a lot of other things...

Okay, I didn't find an entire box, but it seemed like someone dumped this

box under my cushions.  

I also found all of this...

Among the other prizes there were head bands, more pens, clips;

but the most disturbing thing I found was this...

No, I'm not kidding.

Just super glad I found it before my children did. 

It wasn't down in the side of the couch, it was just right

beneath the cushion.

(While in Romania several college girls kept our couches

for us.  I'm thinking it's theirs or one of their friends.)
