PRAY & consider

Today marks our first "normal" week of life since being back from Romania.

It's been B.U.S.Y.  It's been lots of learning. It's been making a house a home...again!  It's been late nights and early mornings. It's been processing. It's been fun with family.  We are thankful to try and get into a routine with new ministry opportunities here.  We are also trying to figure out how to stay connected to Romania and help out there.

Robin has been great to email me from time to time and let me know of needs and how people are doing.

Please pray for some folks in Romania:

1. Simion- his dad came and just took him away from the Bruski's a few weeks ago after trying to get them to give him money.  A few days later the grandmother asked Robin to come get him. He was very sick. He is home and on the mend now, but please continue to pray. Pray for Simi's dad who is dying of TB. Pray for Simion's future and his salvation!

2. Abandoned Babies- the last few weeks the doctor's say they are under staffed.  The babies are laying in their feces for hours and some are no longer making eye contact. Project 127 is hiring two nurses to work with the abandoned babies. The ministry is in need of help to hire these nurses.  It is $150 per nurse each month. This makes it $300 a month needed to pay for the two nurses to be there to change diapers, rock, feed, talk to and love on these babies! You just can't imagine how awful it is for these babies! If you would like to be a part of this and help the abandoned babies please e-mail me at vanhornfam05@gmail.com.
Know this, when providing funds for these nurses to help the babies, it isn't just helping the babies.  These nurses live on very little and are so grateful for the work too. It is also a wonderful way for the ministry to build relationships with the workers and hopefully, eventually, be able to share the Gospel with them.

3. Missionaries- Please continue to pray for Robin and Aaron Bruski and their children in Romania, Caleb, Lanie and Simion. Also pray for Pat & Joy.  Please pray for Romania workers that work with the ministry full time. This includes Liviu, Ovii, Brother, Simona & Atilla.  Nic and Michael are two interns who are there for the year.  Lift them up right now!

In the midst of our busy, let us be thankful that we have a house to make a home. Be thankful for the family you have that loves you and desires to spend time with you. Be thankful for all that you have, knowing it all comes from the LORD. We do NOT deserve it! Many are going without food today. Hundreds, even thousands, of babies are laying in beds with no one to rock them. Please pray for these little ones and consider helping them!
