our May

As I type this my kids are playing with my landlord's grand daughter.
Play-doh crumbs are flying everywhere.
My kids haven't played with play-doh since December. Noah recognized the container,
but said, "Mom, I forgot what this stuff is called."
Funny the things they miss, but have completely forgotten about until they see it again.

May has been a month of growing & growing up!

Our kids are getting so tall!  Every pair of pants they put on are more like capris than pants.
Thank goodness it is summer and they don't have to wear high waters.

Growing up....

Noah is now giving himself full out showers!  He is so proud of himself that he wants to take them multiple times a day.  He can do everything by himself.  I just can't believe it. I didn't know kids could do this by four years old. He doesn't just play in the shower either or pretend to be cleaning himself.  He takes it very seriously and really bathes himself and washes his hair.

Paige is now potty trained! WOO HOO!!
The best part was that she did it herself!  I tried to potty train her a month or two ago and she wasn't ready.  She was waking up dry, but only wanted to potty on her terms. So instead of getting frustrated with her I just decided to wait until she was.  Then three weeks ago, on a Thursday morning she decided she was ready and we haven't touched diapers since.  She goes all night long without pottying and wakes up dry. She tells when she needs to go.  I am in awe!  We have some amazing children!!  My heart is full and I am so proud of them!!

Our kiddos have gotten so close since moving to Romania.  It has been one of the best things ever for our family. We've all gotten closer, but Noah and Paige have just become best friends.  Noah is super protective of Paige.  They play really well together most of the time!

We've had lots of games of Old Maid!  Noah loses every time. His goal is to try to get the old maid.  Here he is dressed up as the "Old Maid."

little Mozart & Beethoven....

This last weekend we took a little road trip to go visit a zoo in Hungary not too far from here.
My kids got to play in a bath tub, which they haven't done in five or six months.  They were overwhelmed with joy as they went "swimming."

They LOVED the zoo and aquarium we went to.  This was the first time we have done anything like this since being here and it was a blast.  Such fun memories we made!
