Fruit trees, though it will take time before they get any fruit off of them, will hopefully produce nutritious food for these families for years to come.
The seeds will provide lots of food for them to live off of this year. These families have nothing, but they are willing to labor to provide for themselves and their families.
The chicks will hopefully remain strong and healthy and later provide eggs and meat for these families.
When the families received their trees they ran home and planted them immediately! They were so thankful and full of joy for these gifts. Even though the gifts didn't provide instant gratification...they couldn't eat any of it right away....they were so excited to know that their needs are being met this year!
God is our faithful Provider!
I wish I had gotten more pictures, but we were too busy making sure everyone got what they needed. I was trying my best not to get chicken poop all over me as I divided up over 200 chicks! I had SO much fun being a part of this.
